On July 26th, &at the headquarters of ExporTT, Export Agency of the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, located in Port of Spain, our partners, Gabriel Almanza and María Virginia Almanza, participated as speakers at the Seminar “Doing Business in Panama“. The count with the participation of her Excellency Carmen Menéndez, Ambassador of Panama in Trinidad and Tobago, and more than 80 exporting companies representing industries such as food, medicines, building materials, cleaning, construction materials, beauty and paper. The seminar focused on analysing the business opportunities offered by the Panamanian market for imports of products and services. The participation of Almanza & Almanza focused on presenting the Panamanian legal framework for imports. Subjects of interest to exporters were analysed such as, Trademark and Patent registration, Intellectual Property in Panama, Distribution Contracts and Sanitary Registry of products, and establishing a business in Panama.
After this important seminar, our partners, Gabriel Almanza and María Virginia Almanza, developed for 2 days, personal interviews with Trinidadian exporters, who wanted to receive specific and professional legal advice regarding the export of their products to Panama.
