In the legal aspect, Almanza -along with a select team of lawyers- lead the coordination of all the legal investigations that sustained violations of the human rights during the dictatorship, as well as the legal representation of the victims before the departments of Public Prosecutions, the Judicial Branch of Panama and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.

He completed his professional training with seminars in all disciplines of law, in particular: labor law, commercial law and human rights. He has also served as a speaker in these areas, in both national and international meetings and congresses.
